The 郵便局公式アプリ is an official app provided by the 日本郵便株式会社. With this app, you can access postal services anytime and anywhere using your smartphone.
Key Features:
- Tracking and Redelivery: Easily track the whereabouts of your mail and packages. You can register the mail or package information (inquiry number) so that you don't have to enter the number every time. From there, you can request redelivery or change the date and location of the pickup.
- Shipping Method Search: By selecting the item you want to send, the app will suggest the most suitable shipping method for you. You can also search for delivery time and cost.
- Shipping Label Creation: You can create shipping labels for ゆうパック (Yu-Pack) and ゆうパケット (Yu-Packet) through the app. By paying the Yu-Pack fare with a credit card through the app, you can enjoy discounted shipping. (Yu-bin ID login is required.)
- Branch Search: Easily search for postal offices, mailboxes, and Yu-cho ATMs nationwide.
- Queue Ticket: Before going to the postal office, you can check the crowd situation and issue a queue ticket through the app. This helps reduce the waiting time at the postal office. (Scheduled for expansion from October 2023 onwards)
- Yu-bin ID Login: By logging in with your Yu-bin ID, you can conveniently use the app. The app can automatically fill in your registered address information and allow you to bookmark frequently used postal offices, mailboxes, and ATMs.
